FE Skills Link
FESkillsLink is a course for students who have some vocational qualifications and/or GCSEs, but not sufficient to enrol on a Level 2 course. The course is designed to assist in providing students with the skills and qualifications required to succeed on a Level 2 course or employment.

This course is ideal for students who wish to improve their results. The programme offers opportunities to build confidence and develop skills while gaining further qualifications in vocational subjects, transversal skills and Essential Skills in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT. GCSE English and maths is an option for those students who meet the required standard in diagnostic assessments.
The programme blends classroom-based study with Duke of Edinburgh/Gaisce/Joint Awards.
You will need:
- to have achieved fewer than 4 GCSEs D-G
- Essential Skills Literacy, Numeracy and Digital ICT.
- GCSE English and maths (where appropriate)
- Award in Transversal Skills
- Duke of Edinburgh/Gaisce/Joint Award
