Business Services staff member Philip Martin plans to travel to Garvagh on Saturday 14 October to sky dive from a plane at 10,000ft to raise money for the ‘Geraldine Boden Enterprise Fund’.
Wild Geese Skydive will host high-flying Philip as he prepares to plummet to land in the hope of raising funds for the fund of the fondly remembered former staff member Geraldine Boden. The ‘Geraldine Boden Enterprise Fund’ has been set up to bring student enterprise ideas to life, a subject which was close to Geraldine’s heart. As Enterprise Manager at the College, Geraldine helped many students develop their talents and expand their businesses.
Philip said, “Geraldine lived life to the full and always encouraged me to face my fears. One such fear is heights and I am aiming to tackle this fear in memory of Geraldine.
Philip continued, “It was a pleasure to have known Geraldine and she was a great part of my working life.
