Exams at SERC
SERC offers a range of internationally recognised examinations that support progression to further study, university and career opportunities around the world.

IELTS
A globally recognised English language test used for college and university admission, employment and migration.
SERC is an official British Council IELTS Test Centre. The test assesses four key language skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking. IELTS scores are recognised by more than 10,000 organisations worldwide including universities, employers and immigration authorities.
Tests are delivered on computer at any of our campuses, with results typically available within 3–5 calendar days.
SAT
The SAT is a globally recognised university entrance exam used by many colleges and universities in the United States and internationally. The exam measures skills in reading, writing and language and Mathematics.
SERC hosts SAT test sessions at designated times throughout the year in accordance with the official SAT testing schedule.
GED
The GED test provides an alternative pathway for individuals who wish to demonstrate high school-level academic skills.
The GED qualification assesses knowledge in four subject areas:
- Mathematical Reasoning
- Reasoning Through Language Arts
- Science
- Social Studies
The GED is recognised internationally as equivalent to a US high school diploma and can support progression to further education, employment or training opportunities.
