Compassionate Communities Northern Ireland, in partnership with the Money and Pensions Service, is inviting staff to take part in a campaign that brings vital conversations about dying and bereavement into everyday life. For more information, click here.

Planning for a time when you may be unable to make decisions or communicate your wishes is an important step in ensuring the care you or someone close to you receives reflects personal values and preferences. These conversations – with family, loved ones, elderly parents, or caregivers – are essential, but too often delayed.

The Plan Ahead Workshop is designed to support staff and their families in making informed choices about future health, personal care, and end-of-life planning. Participants will be introduced to the 'Advance Care Planning Policy for Adults in Northern Ireland' and its four key components (personal, financial, legal and clinical).

This session will provide practical tools, resources, and confidence to start these important conversations, helping ensure that wishes are understood and respected.

When: Friday 7 November 2025 at 10am to 11.30am via MS Teams.
