This December, send a chill down your spine by attending the new horror production being performed by South Eastern Regional College (SERC) students.

The show is based on a short horror story by Stephen King and has been written and adapted for stage by HND Performing Arts students, with sound design being composed by Level 3 Music Technology students. This performance contains mature themes, reference to suicide, and strong language (15 age guidance).

This production is an immersive, multimedia experience, which aims to submerge the audience into the world of its lead character Mikaela Enslin – a cynical author whose job is debunking paranormal occurrences, who has lost faith in the supernatural after the death of her sister. After receiving an ominous postcard warning her not to enter room 1408 of the Dolphin Hotel, Mikaela’s curiosity leads her to check in despite the hotel manager’s desperate attempts to dissuade her, owing to the room’s dark history of death and madness.
