Enterprise at SERC Highly Commended in National Awards

SERC has been Highly Commended in two award categories in the National Enterprise Educator Awards (NEEA), which recognise excellence within enterprise and entrepreneurship education in UK higher and further education. Winners were announced at a gala dinner on Thursday 11 September at the National Football Museum in Manchester.

SERC’s six-strong Enterprise and Entrepreneurship team, were Highly Commended in the Enterprise Catalyst category, recognising delivering exceptional enterprise education or practice inside or outside the curriculum; and the team’s Be Your Own Boss programme, led by Kim Godsman, was Highly Commended in the Enterprise for Good category, recognising those who harness the transformative power of enterprise education to empower others to uplift communities and drive sustainable change.  

SERC was the only FE college shortlisted.
