Feel Good Fitness is a new and exciting wellbeing initiative delivered in partnership with Mind Yourself and the Students’ Union at SERC. On Monday 9th Nov, we hosted the first of our “LIVE” Feel Good Fitness sessions with lunchtime Yoga. Staff across all SERC Campuses took part along with a class of students in the Bangor Campus who did the LIVE session as part of their physical activity element of the Duke of Edinburgh award, supporting both their learning and wellbeing.
“Absolutely loved that, very relaxing and a great stretch” -Staff Member Bangor “Really needed this and thoroughly enjoyed it”. -Staff member Downpatrick “The students really enjoyed the session and can’t wait to see what the weeks ahead will bring.”
Feel Good Fitness not only offers Yoga, but Circuit Blast and Stretch and Tone over the months of November and December. Sessions are suitable for all levels of ability and open to all staff and students. The sessions are delivered LIVE and facilitated with your own cameras switched off to allow exercising in the privacy of your own facilities.
We appreciate the timings may not suit everyone so recorded sessions are available on the MS team by clicking on the link for the live session for everyone to undertake at their own time. To take part in either the live or recorded sessions and the full programme go to our MS team site www.serc.ac.uk/feelgood Here you will be able to complete your health questionnaire and be ready for the next LIVE sessions.
