Construction & Built Environment students take part in online session with UU in classroom

Construction students at SERC’s Bangor and Lisburn Campuses recently took part in an online information session to learn about the Ulster University (UU) BSc Architectural Technology course.

Designed to introduce potential students to the diverse opportunities within the built environment sector, the session outlined how the UU course integrates design, technology, and construction management to prepare students for dynamic careers in architecture and construction-related industries.

Paul Crawford, Lecturer in Construction at SERC said, “Students will be familiar with progression to architecture and quantity surveying courses, but they might not have considered the architecture technology which also offers a natural progression route from the Level 3 Construction & the Built Environment programme.

"This session gave students more information about this route and covered career paths, helping them make more informed choices for progression to higher level courses.”
