Entrepreneurship is a key component of the College Get The Edge project, currently being supported by local enterprise consultants and University of the Third Age.

SERC are pleased to announce our Get The Edge project will be supported by Terence Brannigan, a hugely successful entrepreneur who is currently chair of NI Tourism and the Maze/Long Kesh Development board. Terence was previously Chief Executive of Resource, a global outsourcing company and has been named as Northern Ireland's Business Personality of the Year in the inaugural UTV Business Eye Awards.
Why are we engaging with Terence? - To build on the good enterprise development underpinned by the enterprise fortnight, we want to encourage students who either have high entrepreneurial potential or potential business ideas, to take the next step and develop a business. Terence is an inspiring speaker and has actual entrepreneurial experience.
All staff and students will have opportunities to meet with Terence, the first of which takes place in Bangor on 1st March at 1:30pm
This is open to all corporate and academic staff as well as students.
If you are interesting in this event please register your interest by the 20th February by contacting Kieran McKenna at KMcKenna@serc.ac.uk
