Students at South Eastern Regional College (SERC) will be showcasing their enterprising spirt at the forthcoming Halloween Markets:

Lisburn Campus - 10am to 1pm on Monday 19 October
Bangor Campus - 10am to 1pm  on Wednesday 21 October
Downpatrick Campus - 10am to 1pm on Thursday 22 October, and
Newtownards Campus – 10am to 1pm on Thursday 22 October.

Open to all students, staff and the local community, the cash only Halloween Markets will offer (depending on Campus and for example only) a vibrant mix of seasonal treats ranging from original artwork, illustrations and prints to handmade seasonal creations and decorations, stickers, badges, houseplants, and delicious Halloween baked treats.  Our vintage shop, Truffle, will also be open in Downpatrick Campus.

Charlotte McCormick, from SERC’s Enterprise Team said, “For some of the students, this is the first time they will have had the opportunity to sell directly to fellow students, staff and visitors on a pre-booked stall.”

She added “Many of the enterprises are linked to the students’ course of study, for example, culinary arts students will be selling Halloween themed baked goods that they have practiced and perfected during the first term, and talented art students will be selling illustrations, stickers, and prints - items which are all on trend.   It is the chance to pick up something original, or delicious, and support student enterprise."

Plan to come along and check out all the spooky stalls and Halloween tricks and treats.
