Erasmus+ opens new opportunities for people from across the UK to gain knowledge and experience by studying, training or working abroad. Funding is available for international placements and partnerships for organisations working in education, training, youth and sport.

Erasmus+ can deliver transformative international experiences for learners, trainees and staff in higher education (HE), further education (FE), vocational education and training (VET), schools, adult education, and youth and sport organisations.

South Eastern Regional College (SERC) has availed of this funding to send SERC students on a variety of enriching placements to countries such as Spain, Malta, Italy and Fuerteventura. In the future, SERC plans to support FE, HE and Adult Education students to complete studies, volunteer, and assist with work-based mobility, as well as to provide staff with CPD opportunities and to collaborate with international partners on innovation projects.
