SERC have teamed up with Sport NI and the Every Body Active 2020 programme as part of the Health and Wellbeing programme on offer for staff.

Sport NI are offering SERC staff free beginner Nordic walking programmes which are suitable for all levels of fitness and will help you learn the basics to get you started. Nordic Walking is a total body version of walking that can be enjoyed both by non-athletes as a health-promoting physical activity, and by athletes as a sport.

It is a fantastic way of keeping fit and improving your health under the guidance of a fully qualified instructor. The activity is performed with specifically designed walking poles similar to ski poles.
