Lisburn Campus Men’s Health Information Session

In this session, designed for staff aged 50 or over, you will gain positive tips in relation to men’s health to help improve your overall health and wellbeing.  

The session will cover: 

  • Introduction to the Age NI Good Vibrations Programme and men’s health movement. 
  • The five steps to wellbeing. 
  • The benefits of physical activity, walking, strength and balance exercises. 
  • Understanding and maintaining positive mental health, stress management, rest and recovery, and the importance of sleep. 
  • Goal setting and motivation. 
  • Healthy diet and nutrition. 
  • Maintaining positive relationships and keeping connected with others. 
  • Importance of men’s health checks. 

When: Tuesday 23rd January 2024 at 2.15 pm to 3.15 pm in SERC Lisburn Campus, rooms TBC. 

If you are aged 50 or over and wish to attend a session, email mindyourself@serc.ac.uk stating which session you would like to attend. You will be emailed about the room location once rooms have been finalised.
