Sports Students Set to Welcome Virtual Visit from Cormac Venney

South Eastern Regional College’s (SERC) sports students will welcome Cormac Venney from HIP (Helping Improve Performance) Psychology for a virtual visit on Tuesday 9 March via Zoom.
Cormac is founder of HIP, a company that specialise in psychology focusing on performance and well-being. Since its formation in 2017, HIP has supported over 130 school communities and provided sport psychology support for the Ulster Rugby Academy for the past five seasons.
Lynda Robinson Deputy Head of School Sports said, “We are delighted to welcome Cormac Venney to delivering a guest lecture and virtual workshop for all our sport students from Level 2 through to Foundation Degree) over zoom. The workshop focuses on enhancing wellbeing and student engagement during these challenging times.
She added, “Cormac is highly skilled, knowledgeable and accomplished in his field and this will be a great opportunity for our students to learn from an industry expert. As well as expanding their knowledge and understanding, the session will help students improve their own performance.”
