A media exhibition of work by students from South Eastern Regional Colleges (SERC) level 3 creative media course is being held from 1 May until 31 May at Lisburn City Library. The exhibition is free to attend and provides an excellent platform to showcase the work created by students throughout the year.

Students from the Lisburn Campus along with SERC media lecturer Connor Clements have organised the exhibition called Emerging Professionals Exhibition.
SERC lecturer Connor Clements said; “The exhibition brings together work from final year media students. They worked extremely hard throughout the year producing high quality pieces of work and this is an excellent opportunity for them to showcase it on a public stage.”
Photography, graphic design TV, film and radio production work will be on display. A selection of prints will be on display and be available for sale.
Level 3 media student Sinead Lavery said “I am delighted for the opportunity to showcase the work I have done in the 2 years that I been at SERC. I am also thrilled that I am showcasing my work will my fellow creators.”
Student Shea Osbourne said “SERC is a great place of study. Thanks to the course and the tutors I have been able to develop my skills and train in multiple industry software packages. I am excited to showcase my work and open more career paths”
The Emerging professional students would like to advise anyone who is wanting to pursue a career in media to take on this course as it opens your mind and the career paths you need to break into the industry.
