Enterprise Challenge

The Enterprise Challenge 2018 will take place from the 3–12 September across the Bangor, Downpatrick, Lisburn and Newtownards campuses

• Applies to all FT FE, HE and L2 TFS/SFW learners
• L1 TFS/SFW learners should be encouraged to participate
• Occurs during timetabled vocational teaching hours

1. Ask students to complete the Ingenio app at the first opportunity
2. Split cohorts into groups not exceeding five matching left brain dominant learners with right brain dominant learners where possible
3. Each group are challenged to develop an innovate solution to a real word problem. To avoid student dissatisfaction, ensure students are fully involved in PBL based activity for all timetabled hours
4. Guide groups using the College 12 stage PBL proces
5. Ensure each team have roles assigned to each member
6. Multi-disciplinary teams cannot exceed the maximum team size of five Enterprise Portal asap to share their   idea/solution for student voting

• Solutions should be focused on a real world scenario or industry challenge and must be developed using the College PBL process (click here) uMulti-disciplinary projects are encouraged
• The quality and depth of projects should reflect the time dedicated to them.
• Only teams consisting of five or less students are eligible for prizes
