Shirley Moore, Careers Manager, says, “Our Careers Service is here to support school leavers, along with their parents or guardians, as they consider their future options. Our advisors offer impartial, professional guidance to prospective students, helping them understand the full range of opportunities available.”
Shirley added, “Whether you receive the grades you were hoping for or not, what matters most is having the right information to make confident choices about your next steps. Our careers advisors can discuss each young person’s individual circumstances and help them explore the full range of options available to them.
“If you would like to speak with a careers advisor ahead of the exam results days, please email careers@serc.ac.uk and indicate which campus you would prefer to visit.”
The careers team will also be available on a first‑come, first‑served basis at SERC’s Higher Education Enrolment Days on 13 and 14 August, as well as the Further Education, Traineeship and Apprenticeship Enrolment Days on 20 and 21 August.
