International Entry Requirements and Fees

International Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements to Study at SERC are dependent on the program you are applying for; the entry requirements may vary for international students. We check all international qualification equivalencies with Ecctis which operates official recognition services on behalf of the UK Government. Our general entry requirements are as follows:

Level 3 Courses

For all our level 3 courses, the minimum entry is GCSE equivalent qualification from your home country which is usually 12 years of education in most of the countries.

English Language Requirements

If you’re applying to study level 3 programme our English language requirement is IELTS Overall 5.5 with no less than 5.0 band in any of the four components. You will need to submit a SELT approved IELTS test as part of your student visa application or any other UKVI SELT approved equivalent test (please note it is College’s discretion if they accept any other SELT approved test for level 4 and above courses).

Level 4 and above courses including Foundation Degrees and Degrees

For any course which is level 4 and above, you will need 2 A level equivalent qualifications from your home country. Please forward your certificates to and our international department will check your education qualification equivalency you before you apply for a course.

English Language Requirements

IELTS Band 6.0 overall; (minimum of 5.5 in all skills) or any other UKVI SELT approved test equivalent (please note it is College’s discretion if they accept any other SELT approved test for level 4 and above courses)

International Fees

For level 3 Courses - £ 5400 per annum

For Level 4 and above Courses - £6500 annum

For Foundation Degree and Degree Programmes - £6500 per annum
