Craft NI is delighted to host the first group exhibition from the Association for Contemporary Jewellers and Silversmiths NI (ACJNI). Pinned presents the work of 23 local jewellers and silversmiths who have each responded to the exhibition’s theme to produce one-of-a-kind pieces beyond the scope of their usual commission or production work. Participating makers include Anne Earles Boylan, Stuart Cairns, Robyn Galway and Celine Traynor and the exhibition features over 50 variations on the idea of a brooch, with versions in both precious and non-precious materials. Traditionally set stones contrast with re-purposed vintage tins and toys, precision geometry meets abstract forms. Gold, silver and gemstones sit alongside found objects in unexpected interpretations that demonstrate technical accomplishment, innovation and creativity. In light of ongoing restrictions, all the works in Pinned have been professionally photographed, so as well as being on display in the Craft NI Gallery. The Lyric Theatre invites you to take a seat, tune in and enjoy an exclusive ‘first listen’ of brand new work from emerging, established and new Northern Ireland writers, as part of the new ‘Listen at the Lyric’ series. Maritime Mile Treasure Trail

The Maritime Mile Treasure Trail is an exciting outdoor family fun way to explore Belfast’s Historic waterfront.  A joint initiative between Titanic Foundation and Belfast Harbour, the trail provides a waterfront experience where visitors can explore Belfast’s maritime and industrial heritage. The treasure trail, which is available  until 6 November, is free. There are 18 stops along Belfast’s iconic waterfront with questions, clues, facts and challenges all of which can be easily found on a series of information panels along the self-guided route.
