SERC Bangor Skills for Life students have raised an incredible £314 for Cancer Focus NI.

As part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award, the students hosted a pyjama day on Bangor Campus to help raise money for the cancer charity. They designed posters, flyers and sent out an email to advertise the event to all other classes on campus, and on the day of the event they went around classrooms and collected donations. Cancer Focus NI is the leading cancer charity in Northern Ireland and the money raised by the students will help the charity meet the needs of cancer patients in the towns and cities where they live.
