Level 2 Traineeship in Hospitality students at SERC’s Downpatrick Campus - under the tutelage of Sinead Scott, Lecturer in Hospitality - have been keeping fellow students and staff cool on campus with their Project Based Learning (PBL) summer smoothie pop up offering delicious flavours such as raspberry & apple, banana & mango, and strawberry & mint which all went down a treat.
The students planned and organised the pop up throughout the hottest week of the year to raise funds for an end of year trip to The Barn Restaurant in Saul – helping support a local business and consolidating their learning for the hospitality industry, so a definite win-win for everyone.
