Course Overview

This is a Level 1 Training for Success programme which can last up to 2 years (104 weeks) and is run in conjunction with Level 1 vocational programmes in the following vocational areas:
 
  • Catering
  • Construction Skills
  • Hairdressing
  • Retail

You will study City & Guilds qualifications in Employability and Personal Development including subjects such as Effective Skills for Life and Work, Planning for Progression, Applying for a Job, Managing Personal Finance.  You will also have the opportunity to update your Essential Skills qualifications (Communications, Numeracy, ICT). 

Whilst on the programme you will be paid £40 per week.
